So yesterday I get a phone call. I won tickets from Anchorage Press for a show being held tonight. Yeah, short notice.

Anyway, the tickets were for the Bo Burnham show at UAA and I'd never heard of the guy. Apparently he is quite the YouTube sensation. Here is a sample.

Anyway, there was a lot of really un-PC jokes that kind of made me uncomfortable, but I realize I've been very social-work-ized and that's probably why. Overall his show was fun and the best part is that it was FREE for me! It was $25 for non-students. SCHWEET.

Oy, I've been busy! Need proof?

Here was Sunday's schedule:

Sleep in a little bit, but be at church at 10:30 to teach Sunday School

Church and coffee hour were done by about noon. As I'm leaving call my Lil Sis to say I'll pick her up about 12:30.

Mom said she would try and hurry up A, so I ran an errand on my way over - get there about 12:40.

Take Lil Sis to the Anchorage Museum. It's free for kids under 17, and I got in for $7 (a $1 off discount for having a AAA membership). I hadn't realized it was that affordable, so that was great!

We had fun and she would have loved to have stayed longer, but we'd paid $5 for 2 hours of parking and I wasn't about to pay another $5 to stay for up to another 2 hours. That would have meant we paid more for parking than for the museum.

Got her home about 3:30 and went to the gym on my way home. Worked out for 30 minutes.

Got home about 4:30 - showered - and still red-faced got in the car to go meet a couple (R & B) for dinner at a movie.

We met at 5 at Romano's - YUM. This is where the boy and I had our first date. Then we went to see Inglourious Basterds. They'd seen it before, but recommended I see it, so I did. Wow, if I didn't think Quentin Tarantino was effed up before, I do now!

Home by 10 p.m. Yawn!

Just finished this one last night on the plane:

Here is what I wrote for my BooksWellRead and WeRead review . . .
"In the style of "He's Just Not that Into You," this book *is* helpful in giving you more insight into your thoughts and behaviors while you're in the midst of a breakup. Good advice and really understands how hard it really is to be the dumper or the dumpee."

I did enjoy it, and it sure does make you laugh along the way. The next step comes from me!

Next book, started last night, is "I Know This Much Is True."

So, I had my match party tonight . . . and it is official! I'm a Big Sister!

My Little Sister seems really excited and I definitely can relate to some of the things she deals with. I hope this is this start of a valuable friendship for her and for me.

I'm truly curious. Is bringing your camera to church common? I have NEVER and I mean like NEVER seen it before. But people regularly bring their digital cameras to church here. Maybe it is just my church. I'm not saying it is bad or wrong or anything, I'm just just truly not used to seeing it!
